Richfield Refractors

Richfield refractors are short focal length achromatic refractors that are designed for low power wide field observations. Many deep space objects such as comets are better seen through a Richfield than telescopes of other designs. We recommend them as a first telescope because of their user friendlyness, potential for terrestrial use and reasonable cost. Portability and compact size are issues many people have and don't realize until they get a telescope that's too large.
